Sox, Shoez and Sneakerz – The Newfoundland’s.
While you visit the Caledon Inn you may be greeted by our friendly furry friends. As their size is a little scary to some – we like to think that they are just large teddy bears. Please do not be alarmed if you have spotted one romping around outside – as they LOVE people, children and other animals. We ask that you do not feed them as they are on a special diet to ensure they stay healthy and happy.
Meet SOX
She is the leader of the pack and enjoys balls, bum rubs and all the attention she can get. Sox was born on May 18th 2009
Meet SHOEZ
If Shoez could talk we swear he would sound like “goofy”. Water is his favorite. Whether it is a hose, a bathtub, kiddy pool, lake or river – you name it – he’s in it!! Shoez was born on January 15th 2010.
Meet SNEAKERZ
If you have seen the movie “UP” then you know “Dug” – SQUIRELL!!! Yup that is Sneakerz to a T!! Sneakerz came into our life on October 21st 2010 at 4 months of age. He was badly beaten, starved, mistreated, abused and the list can go on and on. Since being with us he is now on the road to recovery and has come a long way in just a short period of time.
Sneakerz is a special boy and has stolen our hearts – He wants nothing more than just to be loved. Unfortunately we do not have an exact birth date for him – But we think he was born in June 2010. Sox is slowly showing him the way we do things here and how to play in a pack properly with manors.
These three love bugs are nothing more than large slobbery fur balls.
